i first read Pride and Prejudice 12 years ago (when i was 12) so it’s safe to say i have been in love with the idea of mr. darcy for 1/2 of my life. sigh. colin firth is delicious.

Colin Firth is my favorite Mr. Darcy… BUT, the giddy little girl in me LOVES Martin Henderson in Bride and Prejudice (also the one movie I loved Bingley more than Darcy).

while i do love the bbc production of P&P.
The Mr Darcy I love the most is the one I imagine every time I read the original novel.

HI!!!! I would love to win your contest! I know that all of us would LOVE to have our Mr. Darcy be Colin Firth, but my Mr. Darcy would have to be Elliot Cowan, from Lost in Austen. He has the lovely good looks of a Mr. Darcy and in this series they show much more of his personality. Hes serious, committed, loving, loyal, and an all around amazing guy. I would take this Mr. Darcy’s “Oh so wonderful” looks and then pair them with my own thoughts of who my Mr. Darcy would be for me in real life. If you haven’t seen Lost in Austen I would recommend it so much! He does so much more for her in this mini series than in the original book. AND with a few twists and turns involved as well! I hope my comment wins!!
